In a recently conducted independent taste test, Dunkin' Donuts beat Starbucks -- hands down. Out of 476 adults in a variety of cities nationwide, the results "clearly indicate a preference for Dunkin' Donuts" Original Blend.
See? Cheaper really is better!

Hmmm I like both places. Dunkin’ is way cheaper than Starbucks in my area. I love the special they running right now. 99 cent lattes from 2-5pm!! Then again I also buy Starbucks beans to make my own Starbucks coffee at home. Much cheaper and still just as yummy.
I’d have to go with Dunkin’, I like blended drinks at Starbucks but their coffee tends to taste burnt. My fav would have to be Caribou Coffee though.
No joke- Dunkin’ coffee IS better! They sell the beans in the grocery store - I highly recommend trying them once. You’ll be hooked!
I prefer Dunkin over Starbucks anyday.
dunkin is cheaper, but to get together with buddies starbucks is better.
The Starbucks stores have a much comfier atmosphere whereas Dunkin Donuts sitting areas feel like McDonald’s.. But as far as the drip coffee goes, I certainly prefer Dunkin! Starbucks is good for the blended drinks but Dunkin is catching up. I still think the frap is better though..
I find it laughable that people in America think they are coffee snobs if they drink starbucks. In New Zealand starbucks is considered pretty poor, mainly for teenagers and those who like novelty coffee over the real thing.
Out of the 476 adults, did anyone find out if they have brains? Look, I get the whole Starbucks is evil thing. But…their coffee does taste good. However, the Green Mountain I brew at home supercedes anything I’ve ever tasted!
Boca Java has better coffee than both.

Dunkin’s coffee is good but it’s hit in miss due to quality control. Sometimes it’s really bad and sometimes really good
White Castle coffee beats them both.

Obviously these folks have messed up their tastebuds if Dunks’ tastes better than Starbucks. Ick! And around where I live (MA), Starbucks isn’t too much more than Dunkin Donuts - if you stick with regular drip coffee. As a former Starbucks “partner”, I am proud to be a coffee snob. There’s nothing wrong with it.
I do like the flatbread sandwiches at Dunks though…
