Sarah Palin without Makeup

Thursday, October 9, 2008

Maybe if she looked like THIS, we'd buy that she was just a regular hockey mom ...

She wore a $3,000 Valentino suit at the GOP convention, reportedly has a tanning bed in her home, may tattoo on her lip liner, gets brassy highlights, wears too much blush and sports $375 glasses. We wanted to see what she'd look like as a REAL hockey mom, so we did a lil' something ... Wink, wink ...

sarah Palin

Plus, Palin's Newsweek cover just hit stands ... but not everyone thinks it's a fair or flattering shot (especially when compared to Obama's ethereal cover). What do you think?

What is wrong with everyone. Destiny is what’s going to win this election. So no matter what we say, “All you so called” Christians need to read the last book. It is inevitable that we are entering the 8 year Relief period, which means OBAMA will be president and then all hell is going to break loose. Wake up for the time is at hand. Who cares about whether Palin looks like a hockey Mom. It just goes to show the kind of “reality” people thrive on. Look deeper y’all. I’m for OBAMA but this subject has no place in politics.

I’m a democrat, and still very disappointed in the mistreatment of Sarah Palin. She may be inexperienced and we may have disagreement around some issues, but I am a Christian first, a mother and wife second, and then all other things follow behind. The fact that this country focuses so largely on her looks, and whether she can juggle both jobs as a mom and a politician is hypocritical. I worked a full time job until my children were the ages of 3 and 5. As all moms know it is hard to juggle everything but I was greatly successful at both my job and mothering. Should anyone have the right to tell me I can’t be hired because I am a mom…..if so we are ignoring our rights as women to pursue our dreams along with men and not to mention it is discriminatory and against the law. Maybe if most of us would stop criticizing others and get off our lazy butts and do valuable things for our communities the masses can change the flow of our country. The fact that we put our faith in two people to fix it for us is proposterous! We are humans and fail at least once a week what makes us think they are perfect? Yes we need them to govern as their jobs so we can work at ours….but know that there are over 100 hours in a week and we do little to help others and much to serve ourselves. I agree with John Mayer when he wrote we are all “waiting for the world to change”. He’s actually telling us to get out there and do something worth changing the world for and I don’t think caring about whether Palin tatoos her lips on or not is valuable.

OMG…… this is to funny. But who really cares if she has make-up on or not…Lets not forget the real issues here…..Can she run this country??? HELL NO!!!!! And for Anonymous….How do you forget you bi-racial? How stupid was that. I’m biracial and I can never forget everyday I wake up and look in a mirror I thought this election was a Black man running against a White man. Not a white woman. And scared I do not think there is one Obama supporter that is scared of Palin….Ha…thats a joke.People are putting so much into Palin and she’s not even running for President. America need to wake up and stick with the issues at hand. We better understand the seriousness of this election and what it means for this country. More of the same or do we vote for change. Wake Up American People!!!

I think Newsweek’s shots are very unfair. They should have done BOTH of the covers the same way. Either both in B&W with a ‘vision from heaven’ and a stream of sunlight on both heads…or, both in color with a HUGE closeup on one eye! I mean, what’s that all about??? Obama’s a saint and ‘blessed’ but Sarah Palin is only half of a person/face??? Weird, weird choice for the Palin cover. She’s not my favorite person, but I think she’s being treated VERY unfairly by the media. If she’s not qualified, let the facts stand for themselves…no need to purposely portray her in a negative way. Obama isn’t my fave person either…and I certainly think Oprah, and now Newsweek have put him on a pedestal he hasn’t earned or deserves.

You jerks at mom logic don’t happen to be for Obama do you? Can you find anymore negative articles about Palin? You should be happy that a woman has a shot at not only the VP, but the Presidency. How about some negative stuff about Obama? Or are you too liberal and unfair?

You People at Mom Logic are pathetic. Do you not have anything more important to talk about so you just dis people. Grow up - this is stuff from Highschool. I’m so tired of all the badmouthing you do to people of all kinds (fat, thin, made up, not made up) that I’m unsubscribing! Apparetnly no one on earth is worthy of your praise.

Just because we are mothers doesn’t mean we have to look like crap. I am so sick of commercials and media depicting mothers as sloppy and homeless looking or fat with a wedgie from their mommy pants. If you are so bored that you have to judge this woman, then how about you go play dress up and take care of your obviously deprived husbands. Poor guys have to look at you “real” wives for the rest of their lives.

I am sure the Palin/McCain campaign loves this. More superficial publicity just like her. They create it.

Even if she does own a tanning bed, it’s good for her. She lives in Alaska where if you didn’t realize, it tends to be dark, often. It is actually healthy. Doctors have actually had patients go into tanning beds as a way to prevent depression or as a way to help fight depression. I know that there are plenty of people in Oregon and Washington who own tanning beds because it is so rainy and dark there during the winter. Only three months of good sunshine is not healthy for our minds or bodies. By the way if she is getting her liner tattooed on, she must be pretty busy, hmm..hockey mom. Quit being dusche bags and go do a self analysis..or maybe you did and decided you wanted to take your mind off your own ugly personalities for awhile. You know, men don’t have to put us down, we do it to each other enough for both genders. You need a healthy habbit, something not so “gossip” mom or “hater” mom…I mean..sorry, “real” mom…I forgot the feel less guilty title for a moment there.

Wow, some women really are insecure. Everyone likes to see successful people at their worst. It’s pretty sad. I stay home with my kids and I still find time to feel good about myself. I don’t need to blast Sara to do it.

people want a change but as soon as a woman is elected for a good position here we go with st——d comments just like this one is her make-up o.k. I was not a fan but after all this bad publicity and by any means trying to give her a bad name I just want to defend her no matter what.

Wow, I didn’t think that she could look any worst than what I normally see but her raw image, eww.

I honestly don’t think the woman is that pretty even done up… unless you’re into matronly librarians… I just wish she wasn’t a ‘token’… I wish she actually had the qualifications to be VP, but she doesn’t. I wouldn’t care how pretty or ugly she was if she was qualified. (Oh, and Barack Obama’s parents were Black and Muslim… for the person who said he was half white… I think the guy is a good old ‘Heinz 57’ like most of us in this country…)

I don’t know the lady……..however when I first set eyes on her I didn’t like her, something told me not to trust this person.

The part where you say “God save me” may never happen if a muslim is in office. Here are a few of there beliefs: Socially - no… Because his allegiance to Islam forbids him to make friends with Christians or Jews . Politically - no…. Because he must submit to the mullahs (spiritual leaders), who teach annihilation of Israel and destruction of America , the great Satan. Domestically - no. .. . Because he is instructed to marry four Women and beat and scourge his wife when she disobeys him (Quran 4:34) Intellectually - no. . Because he cannot accept the American Constitution since it is based on Biblical principles and he believes the Bible to be corrupt. Philosophically - no… . Because Islam, Muhammad, and the Quran does not allow freedom of religion and expression. Democracy and Islam cannot co-exist. Every Muslim government is either dictatorial or autocratic. HEY DFW! You are wasting time trying to substantiate a lie. He is a Christian, probably just like you. And if my suspicion is correct and you are a Christian, try to start being a good one by not spreading the hateful lies like the McCain/palin campaign is doing.

For people to think that America has come so far because we now have an African American on a major ticket is completely false! When I see how Sarah Palin is being treated simply because she’s a woman, it’s just sad!! Few if any of the questions or issues being posed to her are asked of the male candidates. The number of times I’ve been told that she shouldn’t be in office because she has young children at home who need her…..doesn’t Obama have young children, too? The hypocrisy is maddening!

Yep, it really is true….women are the worst against other women. I am pretty sure the male candidates did not get their suits at Kmart. How about creating blogs that help us be better mothers and feel better about ourselves. Signed, ex-momlogic member
