Sarah Palin without Makeup

Thursday, October 9, 2008

Maybe if she looked like THIS, we'd buy that she was just a regular hockey mom ...

She wore a $3,000 Valentino suit at the GOP convention, reportedly has a tanning bed in her home, may tattoo on her lip liner, gets brassy highlights, wears too much blush and sports $375 glasses. We wanted to see what she'd look like as a REAL hockey mom, so we did a lil' something ... Wink, wink ...

Plus, Palin's Newsweek cover just hit stands ... but not everyone thinks it's a fair or flattering shot (especially when compared to Obama's ethereal cover). What do you think?

So maybe noone with young children should run for office, in fact if you have any children don’t run for office..ooh I know how about noone runs for office then everyone can pretend to be happy..You all think you are so smart because you can quote magazines and news papers (alot of you can’t even do that), but none of you actually think before you spew your stupid BS that you probably heard from someone else anyway, and they don’t know what they are talking about either. And if they do, then you completely screwed up anything intelligent they had to say. I don’t think any of you really know the issues at hand.. you just want to say something, anything to feel like you are important and high and mighty..”here is the issue”, you say, but I haven’t heard any real issues- no truth in anything any of you have said. And DFW..please shut your mouth..omg you are a complete idot and do America an enormous disfavor by being involved in any sort of political conversation or debate. Please DFW don’t vote on -/-/-..see I don’t even want to tell you when, because I’m afraid you will attempt to vote…Not that your vote counts with our current system, but, still….sshhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.

Poor poor Sarah Palin. She isnt being “treated like that” just because she is a woman. It is because she is unqualified to be the potential president. She barely will grant an interview and when she does and barely can answer a question, it’s the poor poor Sarah. It’s not like this woman has an economic or international business degree …its journalism folks. She was picked for her looks and right wing position. There is nothing else to base it on.

Anddddddddd what is the frikken BIG DEAL about what this woman looks like without make-up??? I am sure everyone here doesn’t have their make-up tattooed on(yet it is available at your nearest plastic surgeon). It doesn’t matter whether she wears it or not as long as she does the jobs she was hired to do.I, for one hate face make-up,it makes my skin crawl and it smells to the wild animals I am hunting:-)

Don’t like her politics or her style. Don’t think she’s qualified to run our country, if that opportunity should present itself. Won’t be voting for her because of all of the above. But this type of stereotypical female-bashing has to stop. Come on, ladies, we’re better than this. Let’s move on to the real issues here: repairing our ailing country and our global relationships!

woman or not, there are attacks out on mccain, obama, and biden. i am not happy with any of the candidates this year. all their bickering back and forth. i wish they would get down to talking to us and getting down to the issues and their policies. i dont know if any of them are qualified to run this country, but i am still going to vote. this is a time for this country to unite, stand up and make our voices heard.

Sure have noticed that you have not picked on Michelle Obama. Why not show her without makeup…now there would be BARF! She’s ugly even with makeup. Sarah is very pretty, makeup or not.

I am appalled at the way this supposedly progressive, mommy-supporting website has treated Sarah Palin. Disagree with her on the issues, but GOOD GRIEF, are you WOMEN actually attacking her on how she looks? I knew the media was biased towards the Socialist candidate, but I didn’t know you would really sink so low. At the very least she should have the admiration she deserves—she did WIN an election for GOVERNOR and holds an 80% approval rating in her state. That’s no small feat. And she did it all while being a MOMMY and WIFE and at the very least it is a step forward for the gender. Quit being so biased.

Wow so her glasses cost her $375? Whats that got to do with it, my glasses cost me $265 and that is all because I don’t have insurance. Anyways, I think Sarah is really pretty and I definitely agree with Elisa, why would Sarah go out in sweats to the conventions, etc.

No big deal…you just made her look like every other congresswoman in the house! She should use that as her political profile - she’d win for sure!!!! Maybe with make-up, she’ll bring a little pizzazz to other dud woman in politics!

Conservative pussies know that the democrats are getting the White House. You’ve been in there for eight years, now get the hell out and let someone else take over for a while.

MomLogic you have repeatedly tried to make Governor Palin look bad. We are not buying it. So what if Sarah Palin looks different without makeup. So does the rest of the women in the world! What you failed to mention is that Sarah Palin is beautiful inside and out. Many people find her to be a genuinely kind hearted woman that represents what REAL WOMEN are all about. I am from Texas where there are very few (I can count them on one hand) Obama signs in my county and surrounding counties. I just visited Florida where McCain/Palin signs were everywhere! Again, I could count on my one hand the Obama signs. So despite what the media and their misleading polls say I believe McCain and Palin are going to win this election. I have not met ONE person who is voting for Obama. Oh wait, excuse me, I was at my grandfather’s funeral reception in Florida where there was one very rude black woman wearing a ball cap with an Obama ‘08 pin attached! Many people were highly offended. It was not the time or place for politics.

Anonymous I find it ironic that you say beauty comes from within and have the nerve to call Sarah Palin ugly when all you’ve made are nasty comments. Take a look in the mirror Anonymous because YOU are the ugly woman!

MomLogic: Would love to see you address this article and the responses. You lost many subscribers over this and I would like to know how EACH of the Mom’s involved in MomLogic feel about it? Or are you just avoiding this altogether?

If I were running for such a high office, I would wear Valentino not Ann Taylor or Liz Claiborne or Dress Barn. There are times to invest in yourself and your image. I’m glad to see a woman running for office who can show that she is feminine and who hasn’t cut her hair into a practical wash-and-wear do. I’m still not voting for her and McCain, but that’s not because of how she looks.

Obama, first “African American” to be president. Sarah Palin, first “woman” to be VP. Sex and race. Nothing new here. Does Barry not realize, he was at one point, carried for almost 10 months by a white woman, and then given birth to by a white woman? How quickly we forget our own Mother. And please ladies, get off the hater-aide and find something besides Palins’ beauty to fight about. How demeaning for women.

Well, I sport $600 glasses and can ill afford them, but if you have to see, you have to see. This is ridiculous….let’s talk about the USA and not political candidates PRIVATE spending practices.
