Attractive fathers only pass on their good looks to their daughters, according to a new study from the University of St. Andrews in England. The study also concluded that a mother's beauty has absolutely no effect.
Researchers studied students' family photo albums and collected over 100 photos of females and 100 photos of males and their parents. The photos were then judged separately for attractiveness, femininity and masculinity.
Professors David Perrett suggested that this new study contradicts the old theory that a woman could increase her reproductive success by choosing a handsome mate.
