Could Jennifer's sister Julia Hudson have foreseen that her estranged husband might turn violent?  Here are warning signs to look out for.

It's a story we know all too well. A domestic argument escalates to innocent people losing their lives. Last week, Jennifer Hudson's sister, Julia, embroiled in ongoing disputes with her estranged husband, discovered the bodies of her mother and brother in their home. And, most tragically, she discovered her son was missing. His body was found days later.

"His lil soul is at ease, I take comfort in knowing that Julian is with my mother and my brother and most of all the Lord, and now he's my angel, he's protecting me ... " she wrote on her MySpace page. "Now because I chose to do what was natural to me and love someone, it cost me my beautiful family, my wonderful beautiful loving supporting mother Darnell, my true blue baby brother Jason, I love u big baby ... and last but never not least, my only son Julian," she added.

That someone she loved, 27-year-old William Balfour, was reportedly in a dispute with Julia over a family car and had vowed revenge. But no one could imagine how far he would go to get it.

Julia Hudson arrived Friday morning at Sunrise Bus Co. on payday and discovered her wages had been garnished because of unpaid car payments. Balfour had reportedly taken her car months earlier but promised to make the payments on the vehicle. After seeing her pay stub, Julia Hudson called Balfour to complain about the unpaid bills, sources said. Hours later, her family was dead.

There were signs that Balfour, who is already on probation for an attempted murder conviction back in 1999, had a violent streak. During the marriage, he had been kicked out of the house countless times. Why Balfour, 27, was even a free man is a mystery. According to reports, he was arrested for drug possession back in June which should have landed him behind bars. With all this evidence of her husband's criminal behavior, could Julia have foreseen this tragedy?

The police have yet to charge him with the crime. In American, this comes before a trial and a verdict, so let’s not round up the lynch mob yet, okay?

Also, if you have a link to previous articles of his alleged violence, you should have included them.

Seems like there is more to this story than is being revealed. Why would this man kill 3 people because he got into an argument because of not paying a car payment? Whatever the reason may be or whatever really did happen it is so tragic and it deeply saddens me. I hurt for this family. God be with them. They are in my prayers.

This is a tragedy. I never can understand how someone can kill or hurt a child! it’s terrible. I am a big fan of Jennifer Hudson’s and feel so bad for them.
