Barbie Part Jewelry -- Would You Dare?

This brings new meaning to the word 'recycling' -- but would you wear it?
Have your kids have outgrown Ken and Barbie? Rather than giving them to Goodwill (or tossing them) cut off their body parts, make jewelry out of it and then sell it for over $150 a piece -- designer Margaux Lange has. Seriously, we love that the 'boob' necklace gives back to breast cancer awareness, but we're iffy about wearing Barbie's hands on our ears. Actually, we're not iffy, we think it's creepy.
Can you imagine sitting there with an exacto and hackin’ Barbie to pieces?
that is a trend that wont get very far
Ewwwww. Jewelry a serial killer would love! Gross.
creepy is right LOL. i can see little girls crying when they see that.
ugh thats disturbing
I know someone who has been doing this for years at far, far cheaper prices—and that look much better!
what gets me even more is how much they cost—it’s like, ya right? I’m gonna buy a 150 necklace of an eye and wear it!! no way. it’s funny though, and fun to look at.
OMG just one word_CREEPY!! but funny. they would make funny halloween gifts for your family.he
when girls outgrow barbies, cut them up and fit them in jewelery?
I can see BIG girls crying when they see that!
I have to say that is kinda of weird, but little kids that love barbe wouldn’t or dont think like that so i think you should give it a try and see if the little girls would love it.
The normal everyday individual would believe spending the time to obtain stories on this topic is a waste of money.
I have some of Margaux’s pieces and two young nieces. Both of them love the jewelry, it doesn’t make them cry at all. In fact, they are fascinated by it!

Ummm yeah this is super creepy. I think I will pass on this one!!! Eww
