The singer and TV star will be welcoming a second bundle of joy into her family.

Carnie Wilson, 40, and her husband Rob Bonfiglio, 41, are expecting a new baby in June, 2009. They have a three-year-old daughter named Lola Sofia.

People reports Carnie is excited to focus on enjoying her pregnancy instead of worrying about her weight. She told the magazine during her first pregnancy, "I understand that I'm a role model," she added, "But sometimes I just want to be me, Carnie, being pregnant. People look at me now and look at my stomach, and they smile. It's amazing."

Last week, in a momlogic exclusive, Carnie alluded to her plans by telling us "I started by doing vigorous workouts and gave up all flour, sugar, red meat and dairy. I kept telling myself I deserved this healthy mindset and body. When faced with food options, I often asked myself "What do I really want -- that slice of pizza, or to reach my goal of losing 50 lbs. and getting pregnant?"

Having a baby that late in life is risky. Not only is she 40 but she’s had gastric bypass surgery which adds even more risk, plus she clearly has other health problems because she struggles with her weight. I’m not saying she shouldn’t have another baby or even as many kids as she can handle but considering the risks and all the children who need a loving home… she should have adopted…

Really “Risky!” — have you adopted? People say that like it’s so easy, just adopt. It’s risky… so just do it the easy way. You have no idea what you’re talking about.

I agree with Anonymous. She can have another baby if she wants to. Alot of women over 40 have babies all the time.

Have I adopted? No… I chose to have my children when I was young enough for it to not be risky. However I have friends who waited to children and due to the health risks to themselves and their potential babies they chose to adopt. Yes it was a long and difficult process but it was well worth the wait. With Carnie’s wealth and success I’m sure she would not have any problems adopting.

I wish the people of this country would get a clue and focus on something other than themselves! Having children is not a RIGHT and frankly those who see it as one are by far the WORST parents. more readers less breeders!!!
