Grandparents Believe Mall Sighting is Caylee

Wednesday, November 26, 2008

As the holidays approach, the Anthonys still hope for their granddaughter's safe return. Could a sighting at a mall be the answer to their prayers?

It's been a tough week for the Anthonys -- scratch that, it's been a tough 25 weeks. Since July they've been searching, hoping and praying for the safe return of their beloved granddaughter, Caylee Anthony. Meanwhile, their daughter, Casey Anthony awaits trial for first-degree murder charges in a Florida jail. Then, last week the Anthonys' lawyer, Mark NeJame, resigned followed by the Orange County Sheriffs Office statement announcing they believe the three-year-old is dead and consequently will no longer follow up on any Caylee sighting.

But Dominic Casey, head of D & A Investigations, Inc., the agency working with the Anthony family believes things might be looking up. A photo sent to him via cellphone has offered the Anthonys a least a ray of hope. The picture, taken at Avenue's Mall in Jacksonville, Florida is of a little girl, with similar coloring to the missing toddler. Dominic  believes the resemblance is more than slight. Among the similarities visible in the photo he says is a little patch of thinning hair on the girls head and the way she holds her hands. Both says, Dominic, are strong indicators that would lead him to believe there is a strong possibility that it is Caylee Marie.

The Anthonys think so too, claims Dominic: "George and Cindy have looked at the picture extremely closely for every detail and for all intents and purposes, they believe it is Caylee Marie."

Who accompanied the little girl to the mall is still a mystery. The anonymous source that snapped the photo did not speak to the toddler. Dominic Casey explains it's not uncommon for people to keep their distance when reporting a missing child. "At first people are in shock. They are afraid to approach for fear that if they do, the people with the child will be scared off." Whether the little girl is indeed Caylee  -- no one has come forward to identify the girl in the photo.

And through it all, life goes on for the Anthony family, including celebrating Thanksgiving. According to a spokesman from the Orange Country Jail, Casey Anthony will celebrate the holiday by eating her Thanksgiving meal, as she does all her meals, alone in her jail cell.

For her parents, Cindy and George, Dominic reports it's extremely difficult for the couple to feel in a festive mood, but friends and family have encouraged them to have a Thanksgiving at their Orlando home. At the table, says Dominic Casey, "there will be two extra plates, one for Caylee and another for Casey."

Continued: in continuity, and a decomposing stain, a post-mortem hair, and chloroform in an abandoned car trunk, with no obvious motive or alibi that mental instability can be disassociated with. Wow was that a long sentence. Anyway, it’s like the boy who cried wolf. She points in a direction, the village looks, nothing. Points in another direction, village looks, nothing. And my guess and hope is that if she did kill the child, she is found guilty, and when she faces life in prison, she will finally attempt to reveal the truth and cry wolf, and no one will listen (except Leonard Padilla, but no one cares what he says anymore anyway). Many people still believe that in some rare instances, if there is no body, there truly is no case. Drew Peterson is a prime example. If people in the jury thought like me, they would see the signs in this family that I see. My theory to what happened if Casey killed Caylee: To be honest, I think the child is an incest baby, which was why Casey Anthony primarily stated that a man, who died previous to this case, fathered Caylee, and the family was astounded at this fact, not knowing he even fathered a child. (Go ahead. SOMEONE FLAME ME FOR THINKING THIS. May God have mercy on my soul for thinking someone’s brother could EVER rape his sister. That never EVER has happened in the history of this world) I think they did it, and Casey didn’t want the child, but Cindy kept riding her about it, and she had the baby. Cindy and George wanted the child raised “properly” (and by “properly” I mean spoiling the child, just like Casey was probably raised, but at the same time, Casey may have witnessed her parents abusing Lee, seeing as a common trend is the older brother being abused while the younger sister is spoiled) and Casey just wanted nothing to do with the kid (to mildly support this theory, Caylee sure does look scared at certain times when she’s around her mother in home videos. When a person fears something, like the way Casey may have feared her parents for abusing Lee as a child, she became the thing she feared to cope with it). Casey fabricates the nanny early on, and is capable of keeping that story alive for a long time. Along the

This is getting annoying. My posts are constantly being held for approval by the blog owner. Why are some being held, and others aren’t?

I think my posts are being held hostage by this website. Along the way, affection was thrown at Caylee left and right, and Casey didn’t feel like a princess like she is used to being. To get back at her parents for practically forcing her to have the kid and for spoiling the kid the way she used to be, she devised a way of killing her. During this time, a myriad of things could have happened.

She could have hit the baby after knocking her out with chloroform (or just O.D.’d the kid on chloroform since long exposure is lethal), and…that is where my hypothesis ends. So many things cause confusion amongst the public that it is hard to tell what really happened. That is the problem that I have with people trying to impress their views on others and chastizing those who disagree.

I’m still not done, but my posts are being kidnapped. I would laugh if the blog owner approved every post being held, and everything I just stated in the short comments above is repeated 7 times in one giant paragraph.

Does anyone claiming this is Caylee stop and think that it may just be glare from lights or flash on her hair, if you look at the other little girl in the picture to the left, she TOO has a white spot on her hair that just looks like reflection from some light. So obviously it is not something that is actually there. And I don’t think that girl looks anything like Caylee aside from having brown hair as do probably half the 3 year old girls in the US. My own daughter bears a striking resemblance to her, especially if you took the picture from a poor resolution cell phone camera. And sure, as everyone else stated, if you kidnapped a little girl that the majority of the country is aware of, you would NOT have her out playing in a public area in close vicinity to where she went missing and people would recognize her.

Good morning Jimmy and all. Jimmy I don’t think what you mentioned about little Caylee maybe being the biological child of both Casey & her brother Lee is to far fetched. In fact, I had reason to suspect that my first husband and his sister may have toyed around together when they were teenagers just based on the mere fact that she seemed to be such a controlling person in our marriage. He would listen to her and be more concerned about what his sister wanted him to do or not do during our marriage — even above his own daughters. When I brought that possibility up in some legal letter I had reason to write - she accused me of being a “sick individual” for thinking such a horrible thing let alone putting in down in writing. So Jimmy, I agree 100% that even in these days (or because of the times we are now living in) this is probably more the “norm” then being too far fetched to ever happen. Just this week tons of new (and old) LE documents in little Caylee Anthony’s case has been released to the public - so perhaps it would be a good idea for you to work your way through all of what has been said and done by the players in this case from day 1 - I know I intend to. For fact we know that Cindy Anthony had little Caylee during the day on 15th June 2008 and once they returned home that evening that is when little Caylee’s life forever changed. I am so hoping that these new documents released this week will shed some light on the argument which the Anthonys neighbor claims they heard at the Anthony home on 15th June 2008 - while George Anthony would have still been at work until 11:00 pm — so he claims. George Anthony “says” he last saw little Caylee on the 16th June 2008 at about 12:50 pm — but did he see little Caylee ALIVE on that day or just merely being held in her mother’s arms and appearing to be asleep on her shoulder (wearing her little sun glasses). I want to know if there was any interaction, exchange of words, hugs, kisses and did he in fact fix little Caylee’s breakfast that morning as Cindy claims he usually did, and the like between George

CONTINUATION: ….between George and little Caylee on the 16th June 2008 to PROVE that little Caylee was indeed alive when Casey left the home with her that afternoon — unfortunately, up to now George does not relay any such exchanges to LE (from what I have heard and read anywhere). I would say though that being the mother of 3 daughters aged 22, 17 and 8 it is NOT that big a deal to refer to your child as a “snot head” or to even say to a friend or relative (or to the child themselves) “my life is over, I can’t do anything what I want to do because of you”. That is just the facts of being a mommy, and at times I have felt like that and have often times said it - especially to my 1st husband as he was going out the door with his golf bag to spend the day with “the guys”, or to my 2nd husband while preparing to go outside to spend the day mowing the lawn and maintaining the garden — in peace all by himself while I am inside with the kids. JMO. So I do not attribute Casey saying those things about little Caylee as a basis for her wanting to get rid of her for good. I still believe that Casey knew in her heart that little Caylee (regardless of who her father was) was the best thing that had happened to her in her life BUT unfortunately her mother Cindy felt the same way about little Caylee too and therein lies the problem, i.e. CINDY and her need to control everybody in her little world.

I think the shame in it all is this photo does nothing but create a diversion by the defense to try and stand there come January and go “Hey, look at these pictures…no one came forward and claimed this as their child so it could be her…if she were someone else’s child, why did they not claim her when the photo was all over the news?” Its pure B.S. The defense will surely try to use these and other photos and “sightings” as a scuttlebutt to the prosecutions case. I only hope that the jury looks at the forensic evidence, couples it with the fact that this 22 year old was more interested in hot body contests than raising a healthy and happy child, and than condemns her for the rest of her days. She should be put to death but the lack of a corpse will not see this so instead life in prison, never getting freedom or the chance for it, is what this monster deserves. I usually hate that my tax dollars go towards keeping prisoners but in this case I will gladly spend the rest of my working days knowing that I helped keep this monster wallowing in her misery behind bars.

Let’s just hope the police find Caylee’s remains by the time the case goes to trial. Even if they don’t, unless the jury members live in a fantasyland they will be able to connect all the dots and come up with what most of us believe: 1- Caylee is dead as evidenced by several people smelling a dead body stench in Casey’s car, cadaver dogs alerting on a dead body in the car trunk and Anthony’s back yard and FBI lab tests proving a decomposing body was in the car trunk and Caylee’s hair found in the trunk had a death band around it proving that dead body was Caylee. 2- Casey killed Caylee evidenced by chloroform, neck breaking, missing children computer searches three months before Caylee disappeared, air tests showing chloroform saturating the car trunk air, Casey’s failure to report Caylee missing to the police, telling friends and family Caylee was at Disneyland or at the beach with the nanny for 31 days until Cindy called the police, Casey lying to the police and leading them on a wild goose chase giving false addresses for a job and nanny she didn’t have and lying about a nonexistent nanny kidnapping Caylee, showing no concern that her daughter is gone and then refusing to cooperate in the search for her own daughter.

Jimmy, I am going to have to call you on the cadaver dogs only being a theory in the media. Last night on Nancy Grace she showed the testimony of the dog handler and he explained the hits, it did hit on the back yard and the car. And a second dog was brought in from Osceola County and duplicated the hits. The second dog was not brought in because the first dog was inconsistent but as a back up to corroborate. Most of what is in the media is in the LE documents, not just stuff they are tossing out there. In lots of cases I agree media comes up with guesses and theorites because LE won’t tell them anything but in this case they are getting their story from the real deal. And if you think LE is conspiring and making up, I can’t help ya! I also do not necessarily rule out that Casey is bipolar or has a mental disorder , however I do not think if her daughter was really kidnapped this would explain away her entire month of fun, fun, fun and not calling the police. Also lest someone thinks I am saying she will get off, in less than 1 per cent of cases where they try an insanity defense do they get it and it is almost impossible in FL to get an NG by reason of insanity, only a guilty but insane and that is not going to fly. It has to be proven she did not know it was wrong to kill her child and she has done too much lying and hiding stuff for the defense to go there.

I totally agree that the bald spot looks just as much like light reflecting. Also, on that photo if the defense insists it is her, on rebuttal the Prosecution will bring in an expert who points out the obvious, wrong chin, wrong nose, okay same color of hair, that is it.

Not all little girls have a “bald” spot when their hair is taken back in a pony tail - but more like ALL little girls WHO HAVE NICE THICK BANGS have a “bald” spot when their hair is taken back in a pony tail. The sad thing is, is that George & Cindy, Lee & Casey cannot look at this photo of this little girl in the mall and say ABSOLUTELY NO WAY is that our little Caylee Marie just by the NOSE alone. Caylee Marie Anthony had a little pug nose! Makes you wonder just how well all 4 of them even knew their little Caylee Marie - doesn’t it. This so called “denial” thing that Cindy wants people to believe she is in seems to be something she has suffered from for years and years - specifically dating back to when Casey was 7 months pregnant and she, being in the nursing profession, did not even pick up on herself but claims to have “trusted” her daughter when she said that the had never had sex. I would bet all of Cindy’s denials over the years was her way of keeping things that happened within that family from others outside their family — or perhaps even from George. So that must mean that poor Casey did not even have any pre-natal check-up during her entire pregnancy — unless Cindy did all of that herself!! Is there really any wonder why Casey Anthony is the adult that she is today?? Parents, especially Mommies, are supposed to ensure that they nuture and teach their children while they are very young so that they are well equiped to enter adulthood and be loving, mature, responsible members of society so that they live healthy, happy and rewarding lives. Obviously Cindy Anthony failed Casey miserably and obviously Cindy Anthony did not know herself that the best way to teach your children is by EXAMPLE! Has this circle now been broken in this family at the cost of beautiful little Caylee Marie Anthony’s life - I so hate to say this BUT I hope so!!!

Nancy Grace lol…Anyway, I didn’t say I solemnly believe 100% about the cadaver dogs that I mentioned. I wasn’t sure and thought I had heard something about that. Everything revolving around this family is slowly pointing towards the fact that the apple does not fall far from the tree. It seems Cindy was the neglectful parent, while George was the one that gave his kids attention (or kid, if my “Spoil Casey, Beat Lee” assumption is right). I mean, I don’t know many fathers willing to make breakfast for their kid/grandchild. Yes Julia, she will try for insanity plea in her defense, and it won’t work. But I’m sure if ruled guilty, she will shoot for it. I don’t want to jump into the argument of bald spots because of the fact that I’m 20 and incapable of having a child at this point, so I won’t speak up about it :P I will say this though…upon looking at the picture again enlarged, (this question is for those who are stating it’s a glare) why on earth would a glare be flesh-colored? Excuse me if I’m wrong, but aren’t glares usually, oh I don’t know, shiny and white? I’ve never seen a flesh-colored glare. Another thought: maybe Cindy neglected Casey, and after Casey got pregnant, realizing she never caught on, Cindy wanted to be the motherly figure she never was, and Casey didn’t like that her daughter was getting the attention? Oh, and sorry for disappearing yesterday. They were doing maintenance on our servers and so internet was down :(

Hmmmm…has anyone asked WHEN was this picture taken? Consider that this “pic” of little Caylee at the Florida mall was posted all over the news and no one stepped up to say that this was someone else…How do we know if this isn’t another ploy by the Anthony family to hinder prosecution. This could be Caylee, but I highly doubt that this is a recent photo. More than likely, this is a pic that someone in the Anthony family took a while back. Mightly funny how the person who supposedly took this pic remained anonymous. Look at the facts so far….dad is a retired homicide officer who is well versed in the law. Then there is controlling mom, Cindy Anthony, who rules the household, who has been constantly changing her story from day one to cover for her daughter. Don’t you just love how she refers to her beloved grandchild as “that child’??? I believe that the entire family knows what Casey did and what happened to Caylee and they are all trying to cover for their spoiled rotten daughter. What parent would permit their child to continually steal money from them, never say anything and not put her rotten butt out on the street? Come on people. Then there is brother Lee….where has he been? Before this all happened, he was mooching off the parents like Casey. Now all of a sudden, he’s out of town/state working??? I bet you the family recovered the body and sent it with Lee to dispose of it…cause like good old retired homicide dad would say, “no case without a body.” With all the confliction in this case, the worst that Casey is going to see is no more than 10 years in prison and will probably be out sooner for good behavior….all because the family helped to cover her trail. Some kind of justice huh.

Marie, you really think that little girl in the photo at the mall looks like little Caylee Marie? The nose alone tells me 100% for sure that it is NOT. Perhaps this was a family visiting Florida from a foreign country and that is why no parent or guardian of the little girl in the photo has come forward. Better question is — who took the photo and where are they - they were negligent if you ask me. Doesn’t that Mall have security all over that the photo taker could have sought help from to determine that this little girl was NOT little Caylee Marie and thereby eliminate all this heartache and pain for EVERYONE involved or following this case. In any event, little Caylee Marie Athony’s nose was small and cute - not big and cute.

george said. the trashbag in the car you could see right in it. the one at the river you could see the things inside also. the little girl hair is longer in the picture plus the nose is not the same.

Even though the girl in the picture is probably not Caylee, it sure does look like her. I can’t believe that no one has come forward identifying this little girl In Jacksonville. Surely the parents of this child, if they saw this on the news, would come forward. If their in a shopping mall, I would doubt they live under a rock. If it were my child I would have contacted someone to say, “Hey, this is my kid!” No one has, so it leads me to believe that maybe Caylee is alive.

Posted 12/01/08 02:28 PM

Don, if the little girl in the mall is Caylee, whose body was decomposing in her mother Casey’s car trunk? Remember the body smelled by a homicide detective, cadaver dog, Cindy, George, Lee and the tow truck driver? Whose body was lying in the Anthony back yard, the body that was smelled by two cadaver dogs trained to alert to the smell of human composition? Whose dead body was detected by the FBI lab air tests? If that wasn’t Caylee, maybe you can tell us who it was? Maybe you could also tell us why kidnappers would steal Caylee and feed and clothe her and take her to a mall with her picture on every TV and newspaper in Florida, ignoring a $250,000 reward for the safe return of Caylee. That picture is not Caylee and you know it.

Posted 12/01/08 03:52 PM

I meant to say you know that Caylee is dead and that picture is a fraud. I’m convinced Cindy Anthony or the frauds at Kidfinders may have superimposed a younger picture of Caylee on a picture of kids in a mall and now are circulating the picture and posting on blogs saying nobody has come forward to say that is their kid so it has to mean Caylee is alive. The picture is bogus and so is the claim that Caylee is alive. That isn’t hope. That’s fraud.
