A North Carolina woman has been rewarded a $275,000 settlement after she was banned from a public community center for dancing dirty.

Rebecca Willis, who was 56 years old at the time, was restricted from the Marshall Depot Community Center for wearing short skirts that exposed her underwear and simulating sex in public.

Officials first tried to ban her by reportedly threatening to burn down the center rather than let Willis return.

Willis hired a lawyer and fought the eight-year battle for her settlement.
