A great "do" is easier (and cheaper) than you think. We swear.
Momlogic's Beauty Editor: This may come as a bit of a surprise (being a beauty editor and all) but I am not really into doing my hair. In all honesty, I'm more hippie than haute couture and I can't remember the last time I used the blow-dryer. Until this weekend, I had a big dressy dinner to go to and I decided to "do" the do. Ten minutes late, and still undressed, my hair is pinned into an adorable very loose bun ... which requires hair spray, which I am totally out of. Now, I usually have my favorite hair spray for occasions like this, the tried and tested Sebastian Extra Hold. I like the way it smells and it keeps my hair in place (it's expensive, but whatev...). But in no time, I run into the pharm, I grab the first thing I see, get in the car, spray, throw on my shoes and I'm done. Six hours and several cocktails later, I'm barefoot, the cocktails are kicking in and looking completely disheveled. Except for my hair, which is looking just as perfectly imperfect as it did at the beginning of the night.
What was this little secret? Ummm, it's Suave Professionals Freeze Hold Aerosol Hairspray, which held just as well, smelled just as good, but was way less expensive.
The beauty editor has converted. And the moral of the story moms, is that you really can look fabulous without spending a fortune.
