For Mindy Stearns, having a baby is truly a labor of love. Her first daughter Brooke was conceived through IVF and when it came time to have another child, Mindy put herself through the rigors of IVF therapy once more ... but it was all worth it.
Momlogic has followed Mindy for months as she struggled to conceive and spent thousands of dollars on fertility medicines and doctors. But now, after an ectopic pregnancy and a miscarriage, Mindy's IVF dream has come true. The day has finally arrived and our cameras were there to capture it!
On October 17th at 10:30 AM, Mindy was given pitocin to induce labor. Almost five hours later, a beautiful baby girl was born! Taylor Joyce Stearns weighed 8 lbs and 10oz and was 20 inches long. There were no complications and Mindy only had to push three times! Says Mindy "It was a spectacular day!"
