The Oscar winner posed for the campaign before the brutal murder of her mother, brother and nephew.
According to E!, a Gap spokesperson said Hudson was given the option to back out, but "She said she wanted to be a part of it and that we should move forward." She was photographed for the holiday campaign back in July.
Hudson's mother, 57-year-old Darnell Hudson Donerson, her brother, 29-year-old Jason Hudson and and her nephew 7-year-old Julian King were shot and killed in late October.
