LIVE from New York, it's John McCain!

Senator John McCain -- currently 10-points behind Senator Barack Obama in some polls -- is hoping for a game changer over this last weekend before the election. Tonight will mark Senator McCain's second appearance of the political season on the Saturday Night Live.

He appeared in May after clinching the nomination and told voters they should want a president "who is very, very, very old."

SNL has seen a resurgence in the ratings, thanks to the wealth of material the presidential candidates -- and specifically Sarah Palin -- have given the writers.

No word if Tina Fey will stand in as Sarah Palin for a Maverick skit, but we can always hope!
