For his 21st birthday, the eldest Jonas Brother bought himself a little more than a celebratory shot of booze. According to Just Jared, Kevin Jonas bought himself a $225,000 Lamborghini. (Gulp!) He was seen driving around in his new "toy" with the top down accompanied by younger brother Joe on Wednesday. But, then on Friday Kevin posted on his myspace page that he had borrowed this car from a friend and is happy driving his hybrid Tahoe. Is he telling the truth or having second thoughts?

Oh come on! He turned 21. How many 21 year olds are mature? Besides he probably has no idea what the economy is doing as he is very very wealthy. So he went out and bought a sports car - in his position I’d like to see how many would not do something like this!
I agree w/ Kara 100% He’s rich and 21 he’s not worried about the economy and how many older celebs are buying much more than that give Diddy, Mariah, HSM kids, and other wealthy socialites a call and tell them (Paris, Nicole, etc.) to take their new 100,000 rings and parties back. Yeah it’s obsence, but he’s no more wrong than the rest. Give the people bashing above $1Mill and see how they spend it in this econoy. I don’t even care about the Jonas Bros. so I’m not taking up for him because he’s one of them either. He’s just a kid.

Give me a break, being 21 does not give him an excuse for being dumb. For goodness sakes he is old enough to drink, vote, smoke… he is not a little boy he is a man. He is like every other rich “man” and is going to spend every dollar he has on things for himself and only does charity to improve his image. Sure there are some celebrities who buy eco-smart cars but there are plenty who dont, like him. There is no reason why we should be drawing attention to this particular rich snob then all the others.
That’s not a proof about it. You could know that.
spending that much on a car in this economy is obscene!
