Our moms road tested several kid beauty products, and these are our faves.

There are so many health and beauty products out there, not just for adults but for kids too! With the economy on our minds (of course) we came up with the safest, healthiest and least expensive kid beauty routine. Next time you need to re-stock, there's no reason to get overwhelmed with all the options. We've broken it down for you:

suave kids 3 in 1 shampoo best 3-in-1

Suave™ Kids 3 in 1 shampoo, conditioner and body wash

Mom of 2, Julie:
"Love the 3 in 1. It's great to have one product you can use all 3 ways. Perfect for busy moms who have a tough time explaining to their toddlers that 'they can't wash their tummies with the conditioner.' I love it. It detangled their hair and left their skin soft and smooth. The kids love it too: Bright colors and cute animal characters on the bottle make bath time super fun. Plus, it smells like apples!"

aveeno soothing relief moisturizing cream best 3-in-1

Aveeno Soothing Relief Moisture Cream

Mom of 1, Annie:
"I like that it's unscented, the perfume stuff is a little heavy for the baby. She likes massages with the Aveeno Moisture Cream. Plus, it's not too sticky. Dad and I use it too, it's great for the whole family."

natures organics face and body moisturizer best 3-in-1

Nature's Organics Face and Body Moisturizer

Mom of 1, Jenny:
"This is great for babies/kids who are super sensitive. I use it on my son's face too, it's great because it's chemical free. Occasionally if I run out, I use a dab of his."

The Suave Kid products are great. I also like the 2-1 which comes in so many great smells. Great, fun and inexpensive. What more could a busy mom want?

All of these products are loaded with chemicals. Please moms, stop putting chemicals on your babies! There are so many wonderful natural baby products on the market today. Avoid products with the following ingredients: Parabens: Synthetic compounds used as a preservative. Listed as methylparabens, propylparabens, butylparabens, and ethylparabens. Parabens have been linked to breast cancer and a multitude of health problems. Sodium Lauryl/Laureth Sulfate: Used in soaps to create foaming. Found in shampoos, soaps, cleansers. A common skin irritant it is rapidly absorbed into the heart, liver, brain, and eyes causing long term effects. It has been linked to cataracts in adults and inhibiting proper eye development in children. Fragrance: Highly allergic. Companies do not have to list the chemicals used in fragrances. They contain large quantities of toxins and chemicals not disclosed. Fragrance-free means that fragrance chemicals have been added to mask the natural aromas of the ingredients. Phthalates: Synthetic chemical compounds used a softening agents and to create fragrance. Carcinogenic. Petrochemicals: Derived from petroleum or natural gas origin. These include materials such as propylene glycol, ethoxylates, acrylamides, mineral oil and polyethylene glycol (PEG). A great reference is a website called http://www.cosmeticdatabase.com/index.php You can be healthy and beautiful!!!!!!!

I second that motion- Healthy Mom. Please moms look up the ingredients in those body products you are buying, a large portion of them have formaldyhide in them which is toxic not taking into account parabens. There are many inexpensive paraben free choices you can make. Whole Foods sells a body wash for $1.99 in many scents. Aveeno is a wonderful option for babies too. Organic products are no longer unreasonably priced and out of reach.
