Guest blogger Ronda Kaysen: Most moms can relate to Michelle Obama's next task -- the next First Lady has to find a new school for her daughters.

Michelle will spend the next two months preparing her family for the biggest move of their lives. Except for her years at college and law school, she's lived her whole life in Chicago and her girls have never lived anywhere else. Her mom, Marian Robinson, will come with them, but most of her intricate web of friends and family will stay behind. She has to decide if Malia and Sasha will go to a public or private school in D.C. (Chelsea Clinton went to Sidwell Friends.) Laura Bush invited her and the girls to visit the White House so they can figure out which rooms will be theirs, reports the New York Times. And then there's that new puppy to buy.
Known as an involved mother, Michelle will probably make a lot of the decisions herself. She told Newsweek that moving her family is her first order of business and she won't take on any First Lady tasks until her girls are settled. It's been a long time since small children have lived in the White House. Get ready for a White House slumber party!
