Did You Like Michelle Obama's Dress?

Wednesday, November 5, 2008
filed under: fashion logic

Though the mom-in-chief has made some excellent fashion choices lately, we weren't digging last night's dress.

As the Obama family took the stage, it was undoubtedly one of most significant moments in our history. Wasn't it cute that the entire family matched? Barack in a red tie, their daughters in black and red dresses and Michelle in her little Narciso Rodriguez number.

Speaking of that dress ... What did you think?

I have to say that I did not like the dress. It made her look wider than what she really is and I really did not like the ‘tone’ of the red. I thought it was too intense.

Looks like she was standing next to “Carrie” at the prom when the bucket of blood came tumbling down.

Palin was criticized for how much her clothes cost and now people are talking about Michelle’s dress. Give her a break! Are we ever satisfied? If she walked out in a potato sack, it couldn’t hide Michelle’s beauty and grace. Sorry haters, she doesn’t look like a plastic Barbie doll or a Stafford wife.

I did not like Michelle’s dress. It looked tacky and I hope that she learns how to dress in the stlye of a first lady before January 20th.

Who are we to judge???? Are any of us the new First Lady. Just be happy for them and the fact that the girls get a puppy.

Barack was as usual, adorable. The kids, cute. Michele however looked terrible. I think she’s usually dressed well, but she needs to stay away from the ugly tight prints, and get ups like that one on election night. Dark solids, loose fitting;cover those large hips and big butt.

That dress must have been made of fur because somebody from PETA threw paint on her right before she got on stage. Seriously cut that one up to dust the oval office.

Hey romie..dont tell me you think that hillbilly brood of Palins were all that cute. Kids are beautiful, Barack is certainly the “pretty” one of the couple. Have to say MO could have done a lot better than this.

How refreshing to see a novel fashion, not the same old, same old. I thought the style showed a waist and I loved the way she tied in with both of her children’s dresses. As for those that ‘catted’ out on her….well, what do you expect from empty lives’ people…as my mother used to say, you get to know the people speaking, not the people they are speaking about…glad none of those people that said such ugly things are my friends (wouldn’t be anyway, cause I don’t have the time for that side of the species)…I pray a lot for God to help me not wish for them to get off my earth and take their mean spirits with them, so far it hasn’t worked, I just wish they would go away and how nice this earth might be without such meanies. ah well, at least I don’t have to have anything to do with them…. and maybe someday I will be able to accept them as human beings, not the scum and bain of all existance, useless idiots that need to be more lemming like….

I’m going to get a black widow spider dress like that for next Halloween.

In most of MO’s appearances, she has looked well-dressed. Although MO’s red & black dress was color-coordinated with the rest of the family’s clothes, it looked out of place. The dress was not well-designed or flattering.

I think she looked fantastic. I loved that dress-it looked very modern and very classy. I thought it fit her well and that she shined in it. I hope they don’t put her in boxy suits and let her display a more relaxed style-she seems very approachable!

I did not like her dress at all. The rest of the FAMILY look fantastic. but Michelles dress did nothing for her. as someone stated earlier, it made her look out of proportion or something. i’ve seen her dressed up in better outfits. this one was blah…

Thought the dress was ugly…matched her personality and attitude. The rest of the family looked great though.

You all need to stop it right now. She looks good in whatever she puts on. It should not matter how much she paid for her cloths. Palin spent alot of money on her cloths and she lost alot of money because her cloths is what you would call tasteless and ugly and cheap looking. All of you wish you could be where she is right now. Don’t forget she is your first lady. (LOL)
