NFL Cheerleader Booted Off Squad for Facebook Pics
18-year-old Caitlin Davis has been removed from the New England Patriots cheerleading squad in the aftermath of pictures from her Facebook page going viral on the Internet. Photos showed her appearing to be writing on a passed-out friend who already was covered in ink with sexual terms and drawings, reports USA Today.
What likely made Davis' dismissal a no-brainer was that the human graffiti included some anti-semitic verbiage. The social circle of Patriots owners Bob and Myra Kraft includes their fellow leaders of the Anti-Defamation League.
"She is no longer with the squad," Patriots spokesman Stacey James told the Boston Herald.
In a statement to TMZ, 18-year-old Caitlin Davis refuses to take responsibility for the offensive images drawn on a drunk guy who passed out at a party, because, "The kid in the picture was a 'drunk guy who passed out and was written on,' as his costume for the night."
Just one more reason our kids should think twice before posting photos on Facebook.
