Not only is Mindy McCready claiming she didn't want to marry Roger Clemens -- she also regrets hurting the former baseball star's wife.

The country singer now says she met the baseball legend when she was 16 years old, instead of 15 as earlier reported. However, she says they didn't start their decade long sexual relationship until several years later.

McCready told "Inside Edition" that she's not proud of the relationship, although Roger is one of the most wonderful men she has ever met.

McCready says, "I didn't want to get married to him and I don't want to get married now. He should have done right by his family -- a person is unhappy in their marriage and spending all their personal time with someone else, you need to do right by your marriage. He should have just told Debbie and been honest with her. If he didn't want to be with her and wanted to be with me, he should have told her."

The now 32-year-old singer offers her most sincere apology to Clemen's wife.
