Sarah Palin: What Did You Do Now?!

If you thought that once the election ended we'd see the end of this bumbling babe, think again. McCain's aides are talking -- and what they are saying isn't pretty. Some of their claims are:

sarah palin smiling dumb
  • She didn't understand that Africa was a continent, not a country.

  • She didn't know what countries are in NAFTA.

  • She was told to buy three suits for the Republican Convention, but instead went on a spending spree at upscale Neiman Marcus and Saks Fifth Avenue.

  • She used her low-paid staffers' credit cards, including running up one of their bills to $40,000 for her husband Todd's new wardrobe.

  • At the GOP convention in St. Paul, she walked out with wet hair and just a towel in front of two male aides.

It seems the dirt keeps on coming. What do you think?

Run, Sarah, run! You go, girl (wink - wink)!!! I intend to support you STRONGLY in your 2012 run for president! The Democratic Party couldn’t ask for a better Obama opponent!

Indeed, she should have removed the towel to dry her hair.

The staffers who are spewing these lies are spineless and are doing so to try and save their own butts! The fact is that they ran a weak campaign and their candidates lost because of that. They had no control over the interviewers that they chose nor did they select interviewers that would have been fair and balanced. These nameless, spineless, self-serving jack-a$$e$ think that Gov. Palin will come back to Alaska and never be heard from again so they are throwing her under the bus in order to promote themselves to get their next job. I hope these anonymous staffers are outed and smeared in the media for the traitors that they are. Gov. Palin had an 80% approval rating before running for VP and she still has one of the highest at 68%, most US governors would feel lucky to even be close to a 68% approval rating. She has done many interviews that went great, you don’t hear about those, and had many staff members none of which have ever said the nasty things that are being said of her now. And can I just say SO WHAT if she answered the door in a robe… I hope she runs for president that way she can fix all the problems that Obama is about to create.

I am so relieved that the majority of American people had the sense to reject the possibility of Klondike Barbie becoming the “leader of the free world.” The mere thought of having that uneducated ignoramus as our president was utterly frightening. No doubt picking her was McCain’s greatest mistake. While it was apparent to many at the time, I’d expect it is now undeniably clear to nearly everyone: in his desperation, McCain got too wrapped up in one brief news cycle, pitifully pandering to the Hilary supporters. Thankfully, after the (comically embarrassing) initial excitement about Palin, the Hilary supporters got past their temporary frustration and flocked in hoards back to the Dems. It was so good to see that, by the time of the election, the Dems were unified like never before and the Republicans had taken on an even greater rift. Picking Palin was only one of the many major mistakes McCain made. But it stood as good evidence that, for McCain, it wasn’t country first, but McCain-victory first. (Notice that, even in his concession speech, it was (almost) all about him). Moreover, the Palin pick was a key indicator that he was too impetuous to lead the country, too concerned with winning the next day’s news cycle (“look at me,” “look at me!”). I have little doubt that, given the Bush economy, choosing someone like Mitt Romney would have made it a much closer race. I’d just love to see Palin run in 2012. Michelle Bachman can be her running mate!. She’ll divide the Republican party once again, and be completely decimated by the greatest landslide in US history. As for that “Republican base” that everyone has been talking about for years, the brainwashed Psuedo-Christian Psuedo-Patriotic Right-Wing maniacs who were “fired-up” by Palin: the American people, including the real Republicans (e.g. fiscal conservative intellectuals), have put the writing on the wall: You Have Been Overthrown. I sincerely thank our American democracy for that!

Palin has to be the stupidest, most ridiculous person to come along since Dan Quayle. I can only feel sorry for those who can’t see her as she is. In order to run in the next election, she has to be chosen. That will never happen.

Here’s my theory… McCain had an affair with her. She blackmailed him… he named her VP.

The affair theory seems as likely as any. Although McCain did graduate ~#896 out of his naval academy class of ~905, it was a long time ago and one would hope he’d learned something in all that time. Choosing SP for VP was the most lame-assed thing I have ever seen any politician do. I just spoke to three people yesterday who initially supported McCain but voted for Obama because they were scared shitless of Palin. Those “real Americans” who actually like her are a small minority of brainless twits who don’t know Africa is a continent either and don’t care, and can’t tell the difference between the nonsensical garbage SP spouts and real political ideas.

By my reckoning, about 25% of the electorate is conservative, aggressively ignorant, and frightened by the rest of the world. These people are quick to embrace a candidate who shares their simplistic view of things. That Palin is attractive and “cute when cornered” was simply a bonus.
