Sarah Palin brainstorms like any other powerful, political mom does ... she doodles.
The New Republic recently dug up personal items belonging to the ex-Vice Presidential candidate, found in old Wasilla, Alaska city budget files.
Senior Editor Noam Scheiber discovered a piece of paper on which Palin had scribbled her potential mayoral campaign themes. Phrases like "time for change" and "you would be my boss!" are written along side her qualifications of "lifelong Alaskan" and "taxpayer!"
The brainstorm sheet was in the home of Laura Chase, a former colleague of Palin's, who later managed her first race for mayor.
