More than 1,300 volunteers assisted in the search efforts for missing 3-year-old Caylee Anthony, being managed by Equusearch, yesterday in Florida.
The Texas-based company, which lends their expertise in missing person cases says they will focus on over 130 locations in the area where authorities believe Caylee's body may be buried. Equusearch anticipated more than 3,000 volunteers would show up to look for Caylee, which would break the record for the largest search effort, but only 1,300 people participated on Saturday.
Volunteers found a lot of animal bones, but by 5 p.m. when they wrapped up their search efforts for the day, no evidence was found in the swamp and wooded areas they had been combing.
The search for Caylee will continue this morning.
