A total of 83 people could be called to testify at the Casey Anthony murder trial.
The State Attorney's office has released a list of witnesses they could call to testify in the murder trial of Casey Anthony. Prosecutors have charged her with killing her three-year-old daughter Caylee, who has been missing since June of this year. The trial is scheduled to start in January 2009.
In all, 83 names are on the list that was released Tuesday according to My FOX Orlando. Included
are Casey's father George Anthony, her mother Cindy and her brother
Lee, along with several sheriffs, detectives and, perhaps most
surprisingly, Casey's attorney Jose Baez.
According to the State Attorney's Office spokeswoman Danielle Tavernier the addition of Baez's name was done in error. An amended list will be filed later today.
Others included on the list are law-enforcement officials and Anthony's family and friends.
There is also Tony Lazzaro, who Casey was dating during the time her daughter disappeared, and three people from Johnson's Wrecker service, including the attendant who noticed a strong odor coming from Casey's car.
