Update: Trick-or-Treat Shooting Suspect Talks

Ex-convict, 22-year-old Quentin Patrick, says he thought he was being robbed when he shot and killed 12-year-old T.J. Darrisaw, who stopped by his home at 8:30 p.m. on Friday night while trick-or-treating. T.J.'s younger brother and father were also injured in the attack, but are expected to make a full recovery.
Patrick told investigators he was robbed and shot within the last year and was not going to allow that to happen again. He opened fire with his AK-47 and shot at least 29 times through the front door, walls and windows of his house after he heard the knock at his door.
T.J. was shot multiple times, including one fatal shot in the head.
Quentin Patrick is in police custody and charged with murder, three counts of assault and battery with a deadly weapon with intent to kill and one count of assault with intent to kill.
