A 3-year-old girl fell through a cliff fence while vacationing with her family in Oregon.
Alaina Pitton and her sisters where posing for a photo when the girl lost her footing on the 150-foot cliff.
An adult cousin rushed to grab the child who had disappeared over the edge. Luckily, Alaina was pulled to safety and was not hurt.
"I was shaking. My tummy was shaking. My head was shaking. My arms were shaking, and my legs. My feet too," Alaina said.
The family's video camera captured the incident.

The more I think of it, I wonder why the mother let her children stand on a fence such as that over a cliff. If I see anything here the park is not at fault - its the Mother for not taking care of her precious Babies correctly.
I have a 5 and 7 year old and I would not have them on that fence like that without having hold of them- tightly at best.
Well, at least it will remind people to not make a similar mistake. State park fencing does not meet child safety requirements and people have to be aware… she says there is no excuse for the state park to have fencing like this, and she’s probably right, however, parents have to always have their eyes on alert for these things, too. I’ve seen too many kids running out of sight of their parents on trails… lots of things can happen. State parks are not playgrounds so they have to keep small kids at hand. This will remind people to do that.
I’m so glad the little girl was rescued. What a terrifying moment.
