• McCain a Hit on SNL: A new Zogby poll shows John McCain leading Barack Obama nationally by 1 point. The McCain campaign is showing no signs of defeat and last night the Republican nominee returned to Saturday Night Live where he made fun of his campaign and even himself.

In the opening skit of the show, Senator McCain appeared with Sarah Palin look-a-like, Tina Fey, as a last minute push to get voter's support, in their own special on QVC.

McCain featured commemorative plates of the 10 Town Hall meetings he never had with Senator Obama--the plates were blank; "Joe" action figures featuring "Joe the Plumber", "Joe Six Pack" and "Joe Biden"; McCain Fein-GOLD necklaces and even sharp knives to cut through the pork.

• "High School Musical 3: Senior Year" Tops Box Office: The popular song and dance drama led the box office for a second weekend. Overall sales were hampered by Halloween distractions on Friday, for example,  "High School Musical 3," ranked at No. 5 that day, but it rebounded strongly on Saturday, and Sunday business remained strong. In total, Walt Disney's teen musical earned about $15 million for the weekend.

There will "very likely" be a sequel, but the format and cast have not been decided yet, said Mark Zoradi, president of Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures Group.

• Miley Cyrus: 'I'm Not Leaving Hannah Montana.'
Kids around the world can breathe a sigh of relief: Miley Cyrus has declared she is not going anywhere and is very much a part of the show, Hannah Montana. "We've got too many episodes to finish," Miley Cyrus told Extra. "I'm staying with the show," she said. Meanwhile, Cyrus, who blasted critics for judging her relationship with Justin Gatson, said she shouldn't have uttered anything. "Everyone is in a frenzy about something that meant nothing for you to say," she said.
