Woman Wants Webcam Fitted Into Prosthetic Eye

A San Francisco woman wants to change out her current plastic prosthesis for a bionic eye.
Tanya Vlach lost her eye in a 2005 car crash. Now, she is "interested in capitalizing on the current advancement of technology to enhance the abilities of my prosthesis for an augmented reality."
Experts say that a spy cam can be fitted into Vlach's current prosthetic eyeball, and then transmitted wirelessly to a TV monitor or cell phone.
"There have been all sorts of cyborgs in science fiction for a long time, and I'm sort of a sci-fi geek," Vlach said Monday. "With the advancement of technology, I thought, 'Why not?'"
Vlach thinks that the camera would be a perfect way to create the ultimate reality show, or at least a thorough way to record her life.
