Police arrested a California couple in the abduction and torture of a 17-year-old boy, who showed up at a gym in shackles after escaping his captures.

Kelly Lau-Schumacher and her husband Michael Schumacher are facing charges of kidnapping, false imprisonment, torture, child endangerment and corporal injury to a child. Authorities are still looking for a third suspect in the case.

The emaciated teen was abducted by the couple after he ran away from his foster home in 2007.

Matt Robinson, a spokesman from the police department, said detectives plan on interviewing the boy more extensively when he is a "little healthier."
