She was beaten black-and-blue, but maintains a positive attitude.
When Sandy Vinge, a 75-year-old grandma from La Mesa, CA, was beaten, bound and thrown into her kidnapper's trunk without food or water, she prayed to her late husband to ask God for help. El Cajon police found Vinge in the back of the station wagon nearly 26 hours later, badly beaten and bruised. Vinge told Matt Lauer her story this morning on "Today" ... and has an incredibly positive outlook, despite her injuries and what she's been through. (She even gives Matt a few parting words of advice!)
