She may have helped elect the nation's 44th president, but Oprah says she was never looking for a job in government. In a statement, Oprah said she has "a few full-time jobs already and a few full-time commitments," and she never entertained the idea of working in the Obama administration.

And what would Oprah do if offered a job by the President-Elect? "Even if I was offered, I still have contractual commitments" and would not be able to accept, Oprah said.

While she may not be moving to Washington, she is heading to the Nation's Capital where she will tape her daytime talk show during inauguration week.
