Ivana Trump has filed for legal separation from Italian entrepreneur Rossano Rubicondi.

Trump said that she kept the marital problems quiet because she didn't want to ruin Rubicondi's chances as a contestant on the Italian version of the TV show "Survivor."

The couple married last April in Palm Beach, Florida, following six years of dating.

"Rossano wants to live in Miami and work in Milan. ... But, I am a New Yorker and my family, friends and businesses are here. As the beautiful song says, `Que sera sera!'" said Trump.
