A Pennsylvania jury returned mixed results on Thursday in the case of a mother who sexually molested two teenage boys during a sleepover party last April.
Angela Honeycutt, 38, was convicted on two counts of corruption of minors. But on the statutory sexual assault charge, she received a non-guilty verdict.
"We're both extremely pleased," said defense attorney Neils Eriksen. "It was exactly what we were hoping would happen, and it was what we argued (during) the entire case -- that she was inappropriate. The jury found her inappropriate for certain actions, but for the majority of the serious offenses (she was found) not guilty. A victory, as far as we're concerned."
Honeycutt was chaperoning a party for a friend's son when the incident took place. She got drunk, stripped to the waist and invited two of the boys at the party to join her in the shower.

You know, I’m tired of hearing how women don’t seem to get in trouble when they molest boys. If any woman did anything like that to my 13 year old son, I would insist that she goes to jail just like any man who would molest my daughter. I really don’t understand why woman seem to get a pass. I know most teenage boys would think it’s pretty cool to have sex with an older woman but the law should not base criminal charges and/or punishment on sexual gender…it should all be the same!
