A Michigan family has been saved from foreclosure after thousands of dollars were donated to their cause.

Judy and Larry Vardon were featured on "Extreme Makeover: Home Edition" where they were provided a home to accommodate the needs of their blind and autistic son, Lance.

The deaf couple said that their mortgage had nearly doubled since the show aired in 2004.

The donations poured in after their situation was aired through media outlets earlier this month.
