Mom Goes Undercover to Prove Jury Corruption

The mother of a man convicted murderer decided to go undercover to find out if there had been acts of misconduct within her son's jury.
Doreen Giuliano's son, John Giuca, was convicted of second-degree murder in 2005 after he directed one of his gang to "take care of" another member with a .22 caliber handgun.
After the trial she made her hair blond, got a face tan and sexy wardrobe so that she could spy on the jurors. She befriended one of the jurors, Jason Allo, and spent the next eight months eating, drinking and smoking marijuana with him to get information.
Eventually Allo, 33, admitted to Giuliano that he used to hang out with Giuca's gang and knew about the slaying before the trial. Allo did not make this information known when he was being interviewed for the jury.
The defense put in a motion this week to have the verdict set aside.
Unfortunately for Giuca, this motion is only being reviewed. Courts rarely overturn guilty verdicts, according to a spokesman for the Brooklyn District attorney's office.
