New Year's Resolutions -- Momlogic Style!

Whether or not we actually try to stick our New Year's resolutions, every year we inevitably tell ourselves that this will be the year to lose weight, stop smoking, stop shopping ... blah blah blah. Well, we asked our staffers to share some of their resolutions... (Any of these sound familiar to you???)

"Do more fun things with my son, wear nice, matching underwear all the time, not get fat!"
-- Melissa
"To go a whole year without paying overdraft, late or unnecessary fees that only occur because of my oversight or laziness." -- Jackie
"In addition to my usual resolutions to eat better and exercise (perhaps this year I'll actually keep those), my biggie for 2009 is to try to be more patient and accept that I cannot control how the entire universe functions." -- Michelle
"To do more yoga, try to think more positively, and to continue writing my book." -- Talitha
"NONE! Why set myself up to FAIL?" -- Jennifer
"My resolutions are to complain less, talk less and eat less. As my attempted last complaint of the year, I'd like to mention how annoyingly hard these will be to maintain." -- Annie
"This year I want to spend more 'quality' time with my son on weekends and not just running errands at the grocery store or Target. I also really am going to stop texting and emailing while I'm driving. No, seriously." -- Jenny
"The usuals: Lose 10 pounds, spend less money, and spend more time with my family. Plus I would like to entertain more, but I can never seem to get my act together enough to throw a dinner party! This will be the year!!!" -- Julie
