The Illinois House committee investigating the potential impeachment of embattled Gov. Rod Blagojevich said they will not subpoena two incoming Obama White House advisers.

U.S. Attorney Patrick Fitzgerald asked the committee to not subpoena incoming White House Chief of Staff Rahm Emanuel and Obama adviser Valerie Jarrett, saying it would interfere with the ongoing criminal investigation against the Illinois governor.

Blagojevich's attorney, Ed Genson, sent a letter to the committee, asking them to subpoena a handful of Obama aides to prove the Governor did noting wrong or illegal in regards to the appointment of Obama's Senate seat.

On Friday, speaking outside his attorney's office, the Governor said he was hired to fight for the people of Illinois and that's what intends to continue doing, giving signs he has not intention of stepping down. Meanwhile, the new class of the United States Congress is set to begin work after the start of the New Year and as of now, will only have one Senator representing the state of Illinois.

Once I originally commented I clicked the -Notify me when new comments are added- checkbox and now each time a remark is added I get 4 emails with the identical comment. Is there any approach you possibly can take away me from that service? Thanks!
