Let's play dress up with Michelle Obama. We picked our favorite gowns -- which one do you think she should wear?
She wore Narcisco Rodriguez on election day, but what will she wear January 20th, 2009? If we could dress her, we'd pick one of the following dresses. Which do you love the most?

michelle is our new princess. I think she’d look wonderful in something purple, white or bronze.

The black Michael Kors dress seems to be Michelle’s style. But I think she’d look good in just about anything.

I saw a previous sketch by disigner O’ de la Renta that included Mrs. O’ with both children resembling the American Flag colors. In my opinion that combination will be the one making a historical statement just as this election were historical.

She absolutely needs some wardrobe assistance after that Election Night dress. For her figure and skin tone, the ivory/silver Michael Kohrs would be perfect for her. She should stay away from anything form fittingly tight such as the Marchesa or Vera Wang above.

I absolutely agree with Kimberly in all regards. She should go with the ivory/silver Michael Kors.

The dress she wore at the Election day was TERRIBLE…SHE LOOKED LIKE A BLACK WIDOW’S BELLY…. she needs to wear BLUES, PURPLES AND SILVERS, THOSE ARE HER COLORS…AND SOMETHING LOSE AROUND THE HIPS TO HIDE HER BIG TUSH….SORRY BUT SHE DOES HAVE ONE….I SAY PURPLE OR BLUE….SHE WOULD LOOK GREAT.

SHE NEEDS TO WEAR PURPLES OR BLUES, OR SILVER..THOSE ARE HER COLORS…. the dress at the election day was VERY UGLY AND IN POOR TASTE…SHE LOOKED LIKE A BLACK WIDOW SPIDER WITH A RED TUMMY… ANYTHING TO accentuate her waist is great, but lose around the butt!

Vera Wang’s purple strapless gown would compliment her figure and face 100%. She could also use a different hair style, like perhaps a pixy style.

I think the BLUE

If I had to choose from any of these for the actual swearing in ceremony I would say the purple. I like the black Michael Kors but it’s way too simple and dressed down for such an event, maybe for an after party or something. I wrote a blog on this same topic with other dress pics. Check it out at remarkablychanel.blogspot.com

SHE SHOULD WEAR A BLACK VERA WANG DRESS AND HER HAIR SHOULD BE STYLED IN JAPANESE HEAD DRESS WITH DIAMOND STICK PINS. ALSO OBAMA SHOULD DRESS IN JAPANESE TUXEDO…BLACK.DIAMOND CUFFLINKS.

What a vacuous discussion. Go spend your husbands’ lettuce instead of talking about how the 1st lady should spend mine. At least you’ll be doing something useful by stimulating the economy. Flame all you want; I’ll never see this waste of bandwidth again.

The Inaugural Dress was simply too retro ‘60’s cocktail and seemed inappropriate for the weather and the circumstance. It was not enough change and certainly dashed hopes for a new fashionesta first lady. The white ball gown was simply inadequate and lackluster. Hope Michelle makes better choices in the future.
