Should a 10-year-old really be baring her midriff with a come-hither stare? We think not.
Photos of the Hannah Montana star Miley Cyrus' first photo shoot have surfaced. Taken back in 2002, a few of the pics are of a 10-year-old Miley wearing a belly shirt. The photos seem to teeter on inappropriate ... which is not entirely surprising from the girl who raised eyebrows and ire for her "Vanity Fair" shoot back in April. What were her parents thinking?

i think it is weered having to wear that but now shes famos and rich but that was horible to wear that omg!!!!
I have a 5 year old grandchild who loves her,and we think she is great but with in reason.I do not like her dating a older man,this does not set a good image for her younger crowd.Her parents should take part with her activites more.
Its so weird for a 10 year old to wear that, i’d rather let a 13 year old wear it(because teens look better in that outfit, not tweens). I never wore something like that when i was 10
I wouldn’t want either of my daughters dressing that way.
For some reason, to me she looks like a child who is just seconds away from baring it all in a kiddie pron movie.
It looks like a Halloween costume … it looks like Esmeralda from the Disney version of the Hunchback of Notre Dame, really.
I don’t see a problem with the outfit, but definately with the pose. She was definately posed that way to make a sexy statement.
The pose is all wrong for a child no matter who she is, the outfit is all right.

Not the outfit, but the pose. If she stood with her arms down by her side, then the top would more than likely cover her tummy, and she’d look like a typical cute kid.
All I can say is that hopefully she gets through her career with her head still screwed on right.
uhh first of all, she looks alot younger than 10! Second I’d never let any of my children wear that outfit, they’re not allowed to wear belly shirts while they live under my roof (halloween or not)! Third, the pose is raunchy, the photogragher knew exactly what he was doing when he told her to pose that way, but it’s whatever, thank God thats not my child!

There are a lot of strange comments on here.
I don’t see anything that states “come hither” with the picture. It just looks like a child wearing an ethnic outfit that’s all.
