Otilia Villar Baker, the wife of Travis Barker's assistant Chris Baker, has just filed several lawsuits over the death of her husband.

Baker, who was also Travis Barker's best friend, and Barker's bodyguard died in the private jet crash last September. Barker and musical collaborator Adam Goldstein, known as DJ AM, were severely injured in the accident.

Otilia Baker also filed on behalf of her son Sebastian, alleging negligence and wrongful death. She claims after one of the tires ruptured on the aircraft as it was careening down the runway, the pilots "negligently decided to abort and/or reject the takeoff." TMZ reports the lawsuit says the pilots did not follow proper procedure and continue taking off, but rather slammed on the brakes, causing the wreck. The pilots were also killed in fiery crash.

The suit says Baker suffered "severe pre- and post-impact injury ... pain, suffering and emotional distress, and ultimately died due to fatal injuries sustained from said crash including, but not limited, to the post-impact fire." Sadly, the suit says Chris's death "was not immediate."

The suit seeks damages from the estates of the two pilots and several aviation companies for the pain and anguish Baker suffered before his death, lost wages and other costs.
