What really goes on during a kids' first year of college? Momlogic investigates.
Yesterday in part one of our five-part series, "Wasted Youth: What Freshman Year in College is REALLY Like," we went behind closed doors at several college campuses to find out what happens when 18-year-olds leave home for the first time and head to college.
We thought it would be hard to get kids to open up about their dangerous and illegal antics -- but not only were students eager to share about their actions, most also seemed downright proud of them.
Today, in part two of our series, find out why freshmen girls are the MOST vulnerable of all.
Take a look:
What we found on campus was only the tip of the iceberg. We then surveyed over 2,500 college freshmen from around the country to get a real feel for what was happening in their daily lives.
The results are truly eye-opening. Check out the full results of our 2008 College Freshmen Survey.
Check back each day this week for the rest of our five-part series: "Wasted Youth: What Freshman Year in College is REALLY Like." Tomorrow and Thursday, our cameras follow a group of freshmen girls from party to party one night to document just what happens as they go from sober to wasted. On Friday, momlogic's experts will provide you with a step-by-step discussion guide on how to talk to your kids about the dangers of campus life.
