Last night at the Golden Globes, David Duchovny mentioned his "wife" (not "ex-wife") on more than one occasion. What gives?

"Californication" star David Duchovny, fresh out of sex addiction rehab and supposedly split with wife Tea, was throwing the word "wife" around a lot last night.

On E!'s red carpet show, he said: "I'm thankful for so much. I'm just most thankful for my life and my family. My wife and my kids, the simple things in life. My gratitude opens my heart every day."

Then later in the show, when he was presenting an award, he mentioned his wife again ...

So are they back together or what? We reached out to both David Duchovny's and Tea Leoni's representatives for confirmation, but no word yet.
