A judge issued an order on Tuesday for the arrest of former NBA player Jason Caffey for allegedly failing to pay thousands in child support.
Judge Cynthia D. Wright issued the warrant after Caffey failed to obey a court order that stated he must pay more than $200,000 in child support and legal fees to Lorunda Brown.
Randy Kessler, Brown's attorney, said that the woman is the mother of Caffey's six-year-old son. "We've been trying to get his attention and this should do it," he added.
Caffey's NBA credits include the Chicago Bulls, Golden State Warriors and Milwaukee Bucks.
