Last week, we sent momlogic's Jenny to scope out the haps at one of the many Pre-Golden Globes gifting suites, and boy, did she have fun!

Momlogic's Jenny: On Friday, I attended the Boom Boom Room's Children's Gifting Wonderland, a pre-Golden Globes gifting suite benefiting the Los Angeles area Foster Children and the Jayneoni Moore Children's fund. Gifting suites are usually held before big award shows and are an opportunity for sponsors and vendors to show off their products and for celebrities to take home free swag (in hopes that they will wear, use and promote the said product).

Hosted by Jayneoni Moore and presented by Born Free and Baskin Robbins, walking in to this event with 83 sponsors and all things baby, I was like a kid in a candy store. Given all of the pimped out wagons, chic nursing covers and bibs, fashionable Diaper Bags and custom designed sweaters, I was overwhelmed. As a new mom, there were so many fabulous products that I literally broke out in a sweat.

Some of my favorite items were very unexpected. The gorgeous camis and pajamas from Larrivo, designed for nursing women, made me want to start nursing all over again (okay, not really.  But it did make me realize that I could put a little more effort in to my nighttime the next go 'round). My favorite children's clothing came from Stella Blu.Their shirts, which are printed on organic cotton and recycled polyester, were super cute and trendy looking. I also loved the muslin swaddling blankets form Aden + Anais. The prints are so  cute and I love that the blanket is light enough in the summer time to shade from the sun. The custom labels from Mabel's Labels were darling and would make a great gift -- such a great alternative to using sharpies on my son's sippy cups before day care. Speaking of sippy cups, Born Free's line of BPA free bottles and cups inspires me to use healthier products with my son. My son is already loving their new Silicone Teether and pacifier. I also absolutely loved the diaper bags from Cricket and Monkey -- super cute designs that don't make you feel like a total shlep, despite the, well, shlepping.

In addition to the "swag," the celebrity turn out was awesome -- Ali Landry, Holly Robinson Peete, Anne Heche, Chris Noth -- I was one excited momma! I bumped elbows with Evan Handler, Tim Allen, and Constance Zimmer, who is such a cute mommy it's hard to imagine she says "F**k off, Ari!" as much as she does on "Entourage." Inside the Chicco gifting suite, Marissa Jaret Winokur told me that she's loving life as a mom to five-month-old Zev and that being on DWTS helped get through the pregnancy (Marissa had a surrogate). She also told me that Zev is sleeping through the night. Jerk, I thought. I also caught up with the pregnant, but fabulous looking, Chyler Leigh of "Grey's Anatomy" who told me the the producers will not be weaving in her pregnancy into the story line -- instead they'll frame her belly out and maybe use medical charts to cover it up. When I asked her what I can look forward to for "Little Grey," the darling mom of two smiled and said, "I have a lot of great stuff coming up that I'm excited about ... kind of furthering a relationship with Meredith and also furthering a relationship with somebody else ..." (Hmmm, can someone say McSteamy?!)

Check back in soon for some great products and giveaways from the Boom Boom Room!
