A new set of documents in the Casey Anthony case were released today ... here's what they revealed.
More details released from documents made public today in the Casey Anthony case confirm the horrific nature of the murder of toddler Caylee Anthony. The more than 100 pages of documents include dozens of reports from crime-scene technicians.
And the news is grisly. Up until today, it had not been confirmed that there was duct tape present on the two-year-old's skull. But these documents confirmed that. The documents also show that there was clothing and a Winnie the Pooh blanket found in the garbage bag containing Caylee's remains.
Also possibly damning for the defense is a report that quotes one of Anthony's friends saying Casey admitted she wanted to use cold medicine to get Caylee to sleep. The statement is significant, as many believe Caylee died from a lethal dose of chloroform administered by Anthony.
Also included is a copy of the search warrant issued to remove items from the house of her grandparents, George and Cindy Anthony, after the discovery of the remains on December 11.
Momlogic will be posting the documents as soon as they become available.
