Let's face it ... we all know that life would be easier if we planned our dinner meals for each week in advance. The problem is that our intentions are good but the busyness of day to day life tends to distract us from taking the steps necessary to make life easier.

We moms are our own worst enemies. Enter Dietitian in the Kitchen Diane Henderiks and Diane's Daily Dish. Diane's Daily Dish is all about good food done right! This plan will help you to plan and prepare weekly meals for your family that are not only delicious, but nutritious and economical! Taking a little time on the weekend will make it simple to whip up great meals for the family that everyone will enjoy.

Here's how it works:
On Friday, download the meal plan, shopping list and recipes for the following week. Over the weekend take an hour or so to sort and prep some items. That's it ... when Monday rolls around you are ready to go for the week! The meals do not cook themselves so there is a little time involved each evening but dinner will be on the table more quickly than you could ever imagine. This is your plan so mix up the meals however they work into your daily routine.

Week One Menu

Printable Grocery List

Monday: Turkey Meatballs and Whole Wheat Pasta with Caesar Salad

Tuesday: Baked Salmon with Ricotta & Parsley

Wednesday: Lemon-Garlic Chicken over Romaine Salad with Citrus Vinaigrette

Thursday: Whole Grain Pita Pizzas

Friday: Taco Night with Black Bean & Corn Salsa

Don't forget to check back every Friday for new recipes and tips from Diane's Daily Dish!

Most people, when they criticize, whether they like it or hate it, they’re talking about product. That’s not art, that’s the result of art. Art, to whatever degree we can get a handle on (I’m not sure that we really can) is a process. It begins in the heart and the mind with the eyes and hands.

Laughter and tears are both responses to frustration and exhaustion. I myself prefer to laugh, since there is less cleaning up to do afterward.

I am a firm believer in the people. If given the truth, they can be depended upon to meet any national crises. The great point is to bring them the real facts.
