Singer Donny Osmond accidentally announced that he might be on the upcoming season of "Dancing with the Stars."

The slip was made during Donny and Marie Osmond's appearance on a "The Bonnie Hunt Show" taping on Monday.

When the show's hostess asked whether the Donny would consider following in his sister's footsteps, he smiled and said, "Well, I guess I am making an announcement. I'll say I am seriously considering doing it, let's put it that way."

"I guess I just let the cat out of the bag," he added.

The official list of "DWTS" contestants has not yet been released.
