Expectant Mom Crashes Car Live on Radio!

When the Star 94 radio show in Atlanta asked listeners to call in and discuss how their New Year's resolutions were going, they never knew how intense the conversation would get.
A very pregnant Allison, who was driving at the time, called into the show and said that she had already broken her New Year's resolution. In the middle of her tell-all confession, the Star 94 host heard Allison scream, "Noah, Noah, Noah, Noah!" at the top of her lungs.
Allison told WXIA in Atlanta: "The first words out of my mouth were Noah because that's the name of my baby, and I was so scared that I lost him, I kept screaming, 'Please God, not Noah!'"
Allison hit another car that had pulled in front of her. Allison and her baby are fine, but she admits her mind was not on the road.
"I was so caught up in being on the phone and was not paying attention," she confesses. "You think you're invincible and you are not."
So think twice before getting on that cell phone while driving, moms-to-be. Allison certainly wishes she wouldn't have.
Do you talk on your cell phone while driving?

Well put Shannon. It is just irresponsible to be talking on the phone while you’re driving.
A good example for why you should NOT talk on your cell phone while driving.
C’mon women, we’ve all done it! This story is just a wakeup call to all of us to turn your cell phones off when you get in the car!
Why is’nt talking on a hand-held cell while driving illegal in all states yet?? Texting while driving just also became illegal in CA…so stupid - it’s like being intoxicated while driving!
Before I had a cell phone I used to get so frustrated with people who would cut me off on the road or were just plain old bad drivers while talking on their cell phones. I got a cell about 2 years ago and somehow over the last couple years I started talking & driving too. I guess it started with a quick call here and there and now it seems I don’t hesitate to place a call or answer one. This story is my wake up call. No more talking and driving for me. I mean hey I pay for voicemail, it’s time I start using it.

UM NO we haven’t all done it. I have never, not ONCE picked up or used my cell phone while driving. IF the phone rings it rings. IF I need to make a call and it can’t wait guess what? I PULL OVER.
As for the accident I’m glad she’s OK but really, she was asking for it. I hope she takes her safety more seriously in the future since there will be a baby to worry about.
wow that really sucks. glad to hear her and the baby are okay though
In the past, I didn’t think a thing about answering my cell when it rang, and when I first (many years ago) had text feature, I would text while driving.
I don’t even answer my phone now if I’m driving. I have it set to ring 6 times before it goes to voice mail and have caller i.d. I rarely drive anywhere except around my smallish town, so I wait until I’m stopped at a red light to see who called. I’ve had many near misses with other drivers. It makes me angry that someone thinks what they have to say is more important than the lives of my kids and me.

“You think you’re invincible and you are not.”
Invincible?? You shouldn’t be talking on a cell phone while driving-that’s not being invincible;it’s being just plain stupid. Thank God you both are ok..hopefully you will learn a hard lesson from this.
Hang up and drive!!!
