Marcia Cross's husband, Tom Mahoney, has been diagnosed with cancer.

"He is currently under treatment and is responding very well," said Heidi Slan, the actress's representative.

"I think that beauty comes from being happy and connected to the people we love," said Cross of her stockbroker husband. "And his love makes me feel beautiful."

The couple have been married since June 2006 and have twin 23-month-old daughters, Eden and Savannah.
