Michelle's Inauguration Day Outfit - Gorg!

First Lady Michelle Obama chose yet another Cuban American designer for her husband's swearing in ceremony.

She's been wearing Cuban American designer Narcisco Rodriguez for several Inaugural festivities, but this morning she stepped out in a shimmery yellow Isabel Toledo ensemble.
The brocade dress, 3/4 coat and matching sweater all in the same hueare tres chic, we must say! And the green gloves?? Fab! And don't worry about Mrs. Obama getting cold -- we hear the entire ensemble was lined in warm pashmina, so she could walk the parade route without a coat. Genius!
Check out what Michelle Obama is wearing at the inaugural parties!

Her dress was butt ugly, she is probably saving the Gorgeous gown for tonight.
I like this dress over the red and black dress she wore when the President Obama became president. Total Disaster.
At least, she is improving on fashion.
Contrary to the cattiness and please do remember that opinions are like A—holes; yours belongs to you, I thought she was absolutely perfect! She is a lady of class and elegance and of course there will be haters. However, do hate as she sits on the same couch that Jackie O, Lady bird Johnson, and all the other first ladies sat on. Don’t like her outfit? Think you could have dressed her better? I suggest you put in your bid for the next outfit instead of complaining. Or shut up.
The dress was uncomfortable looking as the bow was tattered in the wind… yellow and Green…awful
I think Michelle looked BEAUTIFUL. Me personnaly, I don’t look at what an individual wears. I watched a YOUNG BLACK PROUD AFICAN AMERICAN WOMAN walked beside her HUSBAND as the FIRST BLACK 44TH PRESIDENT.
I cant believe that people are compairing her to “Jackie”. She does not have near the fashion sense or the grace of the former first lady. The girls looked too cute, though.
I liked the dress because of the color, yellow means peace. I thought she looks great and the children were pretty to. Today is a new day with a new chapter in our history. What did people want her wear her , her butt out stuff. She looked very warm and classic to me. I am so proud to see she kept her husband and children looking good.Great job Michelle!!
She looked very classy and appropriate.
anyone who had a bad comment about Michelle’s dress is just jealous. She looked great and looked like the first lady.
ALL OF U THAT DIDN’T LIKE MICHELLE’S DRESS ARE TO B ASHAMED, SHE WAS PERFECT, THE DRESS WAS LINED WITH A PASHMINA TO KEEP HER WARM SO SHE WOULDN’T HAVE TO WEAR A COAT, SO U ALL HAVE NO SENSE OF FASHION AND STOP HATING, THE ROYAL FAMILY IS IN THERE, U PROBABLY COULDN’T LOOK ANY BETTER THAN SHE DID, AND SHE WILL LOOK FABULOUS FOR THE BALL ALSO. SO GET OFF THE OBAMA’S BACK. GET WITH THE PROGRAM. AND SASHA AND MALIA LOOK SO ADORABLE. GET SOME FASHION SENSE.
To the first response by maggie…you probably don’t even know fashion how can you say it was gawdy…It was simply beautiful and she wore it with class so buzz of stupid MAGGIE
Although i didn’t vote for Obama because i just didn’t want him to be president, I have to say i love Michelle’s outfit i think its somthing most first ladys would never wear on inauguration day but hey isn’t fashion about being daring? so thumbs up for this outfit.
first of all, the dress was totally appropriate and the design hails back to jackie kennedy. what could be more appropriate than emulating one of the greatest first ladies in the history of the united states?

I agree with each word.
So if you dont like what she is wearing you are hater. I guess that is the new tone in america. If you dont agree then shut up. Sorry but her dress looks like it was made from a curtian in a thrift store.
she’s bow legged or something. They both don’t look too thrilled. I don’t like any of her clothes. They certainly don’t flatter her figure, if she has one.
I didn’t like it. It was too dressy and not practical for the weather.
She could have asked for Mrs.Imelda Marcos’ advice for the outfit. The former First Lady of the Philippines known for her fab styles would definetely give her an idea how to shine like a DIVA on that day…hmmm..about the inappropriateness of the cut and color for a winter day?? well look at Imelda before…just to show her gorgeous skin and Filipiniana tropical gowns to the world…she would carelessly wear it off-shoulder and would appear on winter day at the white house during Lyndon Johnson’s time…regardless whether she actually feeling cold on it…It’s a fashionic statement of her choice..she always stand-out among the ladies in the crowd because of that…
DO U GUYS SERISOULY SIT HERE AND TAKE THE EFFIN TIME TO TALK ABOUT MICHELLE’S OUTFIT??!? I MEAN SERIUSLY….

Today’s Dress - gorgeous, beautiful, classic - fitting of a 1st lady.
The red & black number she wore before - total utter disaster.
