Michelle's Inauguration Day Outfit - Gorg!

First Lady Michelle Obama chose yet another Cuban American designer for her husband's swearing in ceremony.

She's been wearing Cuban American designer Narcisco Rodriguez for several Inaugural festivities, but this morning she stepped out in a shimmery yellow Isabel Toledo ensemble.
The brocade dress, 3/4 coat and matching sweater all in the same hue are tres chic, we must say! And the green gloves?? Fab! And don't worry about Mrs. Obama getting cold -- we hear the entire ensemble was lined in warm pashmina, so she could walk the parade route without a coat. Genius!
Check out what Michelle Obama is wearing at the inaugural parties!

That “yella” thing she wore certainly wasn’t “mella” (to quote that old racist Lowery).
Yes, Day 1 of giving the same “respect” to these illegitimate occupants of the White House as they and their ilk gave President and Mrs. Bush.
As the first Lady she should have worn something less glitzy and more elegant and classy. She is a big woman (5’11”) and yellow made her look even bigger. Her ball gown was even more hideous. Petals and 1 shoulder strap didn’t do anything for her. She looked very uncomfortable in her getups. Mrs. Biden looked ridiculous with the above knee dress and the boots. The girls and their Dad looked great.
Someone really needs to help the First Lady out. Her fashion advisors are not doing her justice. As the wife of the first black president, she has a very difficult task before her and it won’t make her life any easier if she is not receiving the very best advice in all aspects of her new position, especially when it comes to fashion. Both the day dress and the evening gown did not do her or her position as First Lady justice. She has the potential to set a very high example, and I hope she realizes this and gets the expert help she needs.
ugly dress—
The dress was frumpy and emphasized her masculine traits. She is already a very large size and perhaps she was forced to wear a bullet proof corset under it , who knows? That could certainly explain the sullen, unhappy pics. But as she said the color was to express hope and baby hope is about all she’s gonna have during the next 4 years.
The lemongrass upholstered couch outfit during the day was even worse than the awful gown she wore last night - bulky, too short, busy layers, and WAY too glitzy for daytime!! And those hideous teal shoes and pea green gloves! OMG. As bad as both of these outfits were, the red and black bloodclot/Halloween bargain basement dress she wore on Election night took the cake. She has no fashion sense, and needs a stylist pronto. And, sorry to say, she should look for a good finishing school while she’s at it - her posture is abysmal, hunched and slouched, and she walks like a farmer clumping through a field of mud, rocking back and forth sideways with every step (Caroline Kennedy does this too, bleh) Sorry - just sayin’! lol
Jill Biden was utterly inappropriately dressed, she looked like she was dressing as Nancy Sinatra for Halloween. Short skirt and come hither stiletto boots?? If she was going for slutty office wear/dominitrix she hit it spot on LOL
Michelle needs to hire a good stylist. She looked terrible in that yellow thing yesterday and her ball gown wasn’t that great either. Plus what was with the church dress this morning??? Not attractive at all!!! She’s an elegant lady but I’m not getting her whole look…
I do not know what this woman is thinking. These outfits are utterly awful! She needs a stylist soonest. First that horrible black and red nightmare on election night, then the “Scarlett O’Hara” curtain ensemble for the inauguration, then the recycled prom gown for the balls and that horrific dress today. UGH! She can look very nice—she wore a lovely teal sheath for one of the conventions that was perfect for her. I think one of the problems is that she’s not considering how these outfits will look in photographs and on television. She needs to minimize the patterns and choose strong, jewel solid colors to emphasize her height and lean silhouette.
Bring back Jackie Kennedy’s style of dress and Michelle please smile more.
How does ‘chelle do WHAT? Have all that money and resources for fashion advice, and still manage to look horrid? Take the yellow brocade or shiny looking dress with a faux jewel encrusted neckline. No one wears encrusted anything before 6 P.M. in Washington. And those bilious green gloves? Aaaaaagh! The feathery white ball gown. No comment. And (I’m afraid not) the last outfit today - what was THAT? I mean besides dowdy, matronly, and just plain ugly.

Oh, P.S. Cindy McCain WE MISS YOU!!!
Thanks, Katie, for saying exactly what I’ve been thinking. No well-dressed woman appears bejeweled during the day. I read somewhere that the shoes were grass green and the gloves more of an olive … lovely accessories for a jeweled brocade dress! The white gown was horrid. At first, I thought she was wearing a feathered dress. It wasn’t hemmed properly, thus the problems dancing. She will eventually figure out that she needs some help and she can’t purchase her clothing off the rack - she needs to have everything properly altered. The Wednesday morning church dress was atrocious.
And to all you fashionistas: I have nothing against the Obama’s and wish them the best. I just hope our First Lady will get some help with her wardrobe and not embarrass us when she visits other countries.
And while I’m at it, Jill Biden dresses like an 18 year old. I’m fairly sure she dresses to show off her great figure but it’s time for her to accept the fact she’s aging!!! She’s too old to strut around like that.
You people are so blind she is ugly
she absoultely looks fab in that special dress!and allthough she was the president’s wife she was unique amongst all the people present there

Good Afternoon!!! www.momlogic.com is one of the most outstanding resourceful websites of its kind. I enjoy reading it every day. Keep it that way.

I thought Michelle O. looked very classy and even though the dress had some sheen it certainly didn’t look over the top. On the other hand Jill Biden’s hooker boots as someone else called them, (much nicer than the phrase I had in my mind) did not fit the occasion.
